Journalists criticize Dagestani authorities' passivity in Chechen border issue

Friday namazes held in Chechnya under law enforcers' control
Collective Friday namazes (prayers) in Chechnya were held with a small number of believers; the number of them in mosques was limited due to the safe distance rule. Law enforcers monitored the observance of sanitary standards by believers, residents of the republic told the "Caucasian Knot".

35 opponents of ban on protests detained in Yerevan
Policemen have detained four lawyers and rights defenders, who demanded from the Armenian Parliament to consider cancellation of the ban on mass protests. 31 other activists were detained at the police station, where the earlier protesters had been taken.

Armenian authorities blame citizens for coronavirus spread
The coronavirus death toll in Armenia has reached 245, while the number of cases has reached 14,669. Advocates claim no-admission to Chechen native detained in Moscow
Yusup Kutaev, a native of Chechnya, has been kept in a Moscow police station for 24 hours, where advocates are not allowed to visit him and another detainee, the advocates have reported.
