305 French Senators have supported the resolution on the need to recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Armenian Prime Minister and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Nagorno-Karabakh have welcomed the resolution, while Azerbaijani authorities have sharply criticized it.

Over the past 24 hours, 745 people infected with coronavirus were registered in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD). 222 of them are in the Stavropol Territory; in Dagestan, COVID-19 was confirmed in 101 people. Chechnya, where the smallest increase had been recorded earlier, takes the third place with 91 cases.

The establishment of Azerbaijani control over Kelbadjar (the Armenian name is Karvachar), through which the fibre-optic cable had passed, has caused Internet problems. Russian peacekeepers escorted a convoy of 30 buses with refugees from Yerevan to Stepanakert. The total number of residents of Nagorno-Karabakh who returned home with the support of the Russian peacekeepers has exceeded 11,000, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reports today.
