A top-ranking Armenian officer was collecting information about the armies of Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia and passing it on to Azerbaijan through the Embassy in Georgia. The officer is under arrest now.

In Yerevan, a court dismissed a request filed by the defence of the second President of Armenia to postpone court hearings for the period while Robert Kocharyan was preparing for the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 20. A judge scheduled the next court hearing in the criminal case against Robert Kocharyan for May 25.
