Attack on law enforcers in Kizilyurt District becomes first armed incident over 10 months

A shootout in the Kizilyurt District, in which three persons have been killed today, has become the first armed incident in the district since early 2019. The recent attack on law enforcers in the Kizilyurt District occurred in July 2018.

Chechen people doubt joy of Akhmat-Yurt residents from renaming of their village

Fellow villagers of Ramzan Kadyrov said that they had long wanted for their village to be renamed as Akhmat-Yurt. They note they are proud that the village of Khosi-Yurt now bears the name of the father of the Chechen leader.
