During a raid, security forces identified 16 illegal migrants from Cameroon, Togo, and Mauritania who were working as loaders at a shopping center in Leninkent.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," security forces began conducting mass raids to search for illegal migrants in various regions, including southern Russia, following the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. Human rights activists have called the fight for the legality of migration a show, emphasizing that the actions of security forces and court decisions on fines and deportation often have neither legal grounds nor logical explanations. Another goal of the raids is to identify migrants who have received Russian citizenship but are not registered for military service, so that they can be conscripted or persuaded to sign a contract.

Dagestani police identified 16 migrants from Africa during the "Illegal Migrant-2025" operational search operation, who were illegally working as loaders at a shopping center, RIA Novosti reported on November 23.

According to law enforcement, 16 citizens of Cameroon, Togo, and Mauritania were illegally employed at the shopping center in the village of Leninkent. The employer failed to notify the workers of their employment contracts on time and faces administrative charges for illegally engaging a foreign citizen or stateless person in labor activities. The fate of the migrants has not been reported.
