Three servicemen from Dagestan were killed in Ukraine

Temirlan Dzhabrailov and two of his fellow countrymen from the Tabasaransky district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially recognized at least 2107 combatants from Dagestan as killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by September 7, officials and law enforcement named at least 2104 fighters from Dagestan who were killed in the combat zone in Ukraine.

The names of three more servicemen from Dagestan killed in Ukraine were announced by the administration of the Tabasaransky district while reporting on the opening of memorial plaques at the Arak school.

All three of the killed, - Temirlan Dzhabrailov, Marat Magomedov, and Sardar Abdulaliev, - were graduates of this school. “All of them were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage,” the official Telegram channel of the municipality reported.

Magomedov was killed in January 2025 at the age of 29, and 41-year-old Abdulaliev was killed in May 2026. The memorial plaque for 31-year-old Dzhabrailov states the date of death as October 24, 2026.

Thus, at least 2107 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to the report from "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".

On September 6, the administration of the Tabasaransky district reported that in the combat zone Radzhab Gadzhiyev and Anzor Agabalayev were killed.

Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the number of killed whose names have been officially disclosed by the authorities. Sergey Melikov, who headed Dagestan in February 2022, was the first among the authorities to report that a Russian serviceman was killed in Ukraine, acknowledging the death of officer Nurmagomed Gadzhi-Magomedov.
