The Kazanchetsots Cathedral in Shushi was desecrated after the city was captured by Azerbaijani troops, the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) has claimed. The Armenian Ministry of Culture has treated the incident as vandalism and called on international organizations to protect cultural monuments in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The peace agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh will make it possible to open the road between Yerevan and Syunik, as well as to resume transport communications with Iran through Nakhichevan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced.
