About 10,000 rally in Baku
The rally demanding to cancel the outcome of the presidential election, held on October 27 in the capital of Azerbaijan, was attended by about 10,000 people. The resolution of the rally demands to cancel the election outcome, hold a new election, release political prisoners and stop putting pressure on the newspaper "Azadlyg".

We need a law on social protection of terror act victims, say participants of Dubrovka commemoration
On October 26, eleven years after the terror act in Dubrovka Theatrical Centre, relatives of those who perished, liberated hostages and negotiators with terrorists met again in Melnikov Street in Moscow to commemorate the dead and recollect the events of three days in October 2002. Speakers at the commemoration ceremony called on the State Duma MPs to consider and adopt the law on the status of terror act victims.

State Duma adopts law that damage caused by terrorists shall be compensated by their relatives
The State Duma of the Russian Federation has adopted on the second and third readings the law on strengthening measures to combat terrorism. The law provides the possibility for compensation for the damage caused by actions of terrorists at the expense of their family members. Besides, the law provides punishment of up to 20 years of imprisonment for creation of terrorist community and training terrorists.
