On October 1, about 120 members of the Nogai communities of Moscow and Novy Urengoy took part in the Remembrance and Sorrow Day. After the battle on October 1, 1783, and tsarist raids, Nogai people were scattered; many of them were killed, said Ramil Ishmukhambetov, a historian.
