The policeman, who was fatally wounded during an attack on the post in the Achkhoi-Martan District of Chechnya, was on a business trip from the Kemerovo Region. He died on the way to the hospital.

The owners of travel companies that focused on Russian tourists are at risk of losses due to the imposed ban on Russian-Georgian air flights, while owners of private apartments have not experienced any problems because of decreased tourist traffic from Russia. In Derbent, the law enforcement bodies did not respond to a protest of a mother of Islam Barzukaev, who was suspected of possessing weapons, noted Elena Barzukaeva on the fourth day of her hunger strike. According to her, law enforcers warned people not to approach the picketer.

The condition of five patients who still stay in hospitals after a dispersal of protesters in Tbilisi is considered by doctors to be satisfactory. Three of patients receive medical treatment in Georgia, the fourth is sent to Israel, and another one is being prepared for his transportation to Germany, the Georgian Ministry for Public Health reports.
