Authorities ignore republics' resolution on native languages

The authorities have revealed no interested in the resolution adopted by representatives of 12 national republics of Russia, which treated the law on voluntary study of native languages as unconstitutional. Tourists report sewage discharge into Gelendzhik bay

On the central beach of the city Gelendzhik, a sewage discharge occurred; for about an hour, the sewage was discharged into the sea; it was accompanied by an unpleasant smell, after which bathing was banned, tourists have reported. However, the Gelendzhik administration explained that the bathing ban was introduced because of a sharp drop in water temperature.
