A fighter from Dagestan was killed in the special military operation zone.

Abumutalib Ramazanov from the Tabasaransky district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have acknowledged at least 2117 combatants from Dagestan killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by September 18, officials and law enforcement named at least 2116 servicemen from Dagestan killed in the combat zone in Ukraine and near the border.

A memorial plaque was opened at the Pilig school in the Tabasaransky district for graduate Abumutalib Ramazanov, who was killed in the special military operation zone, reported the head of the district, Magomed Kurbanov, on his Telegram channel.

Abdulmutalim Ramazanov served in the Donetsk direction and was killed at the age of 38. Other details about the military's death and his biography were not provided in the official's message.

Thus, at least 2117 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "SVO Statistics: Losses in Southern Russia are Increasing".

Earlier, the administration of the Tabasaransky district reported that Musaib Sultanov was killed in Ukraine.

Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the number of killed whose names have been officially disclosed by the authorities.
