Sources reported on the torture of the Tsuroev brothers after their deportation from Turkey.

The natives of Ingushetia, Movlat and Yusup Tsuroev, were tortured after being handed over to the Russian side. They were allowed to meet with their relatives only after publications about their deportation, sources reported.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", Yusup Tsuroev had been wanted since October 2024 in a criminal case. According to security forces, he assisted a covert cell of a banned terrorist organization in Russia, linked to Amirhan Gurazhev and Khizir Ganiev. Gurazhev's group was involved in the case of attacks on traffic police posts in Ingushetia.

According to sources, after being handed over to the Russian side, Movlat and Yusup Tsuroev were tortured by security forces and were administered unknown substances.

The Tsuroevs were allowed to meet with their relatives only after publications on social media about their deportation. After the meeting, the brothers were presumably sent to Vladikavkaz, "Fortanga" reported today.

Movlat and Yusup Tsuroev were deported from Turkey at the request of the Russian authorities, and the transfer bypassed standard procedures: a separate flight was sent for the brothers from Russia, after which employees of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) handed them over to Russian security forces.

Recall that on March 3, 2024, Amirhan Gurazhev and five other alleged militants, including Zelimkhan and Tagir Tsuroev, were killed during a counter-terrorism operation in Karabulak. Movlat Tsuroev was listed as a terrorist and extremist in October 2024. Namesakes of Movlat and Yusup Tsuroev were also involved in the investigation of the attack on the Santa Maria Catholic Church in Istanbul on January 28, 2024, which resulted in one death. Movlat Tsuroev's case reached court, where he denied involvement in terrorist activities.
