The authorities' report on measures against rising fuel prices has caused skepticism among the residents of Ingushetia.

To combat the rising fuel prices in Ingushetia, the authorities reported that the reasons, stages of the problem's emergence, and ways to resolve it will be investigated for each case of supply disruptions. Local residents, commenting on this report on social media, expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the announced measures and pointed out that the rise in fuel prices has already occurred.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 11, the authorities of Ingushetia acknowledged problems with fuel in the region. At a meeting of the operational headquarters, officials discussed the operation of gas stations, volumes and schedules of supplies, availability of fuel, and retail prices.

On September 11, the government of the republic reported in its Telegram channel that the Prime Minister of Ingushetia, Vladimir Slastenin, during the meeting of the operational headquarters monitoring the situation in the oil products market, instructed not to allow unjustified price increases for fuel.

Slastenin stated that the authorities need to obtain current data on the availability and supply of fuel, the operation of gas stations, and the reasons for disruptions. "We need to see the real picture across the republic: how much fuel is available today, how much is being supplied, and which gas stations are operating. For each case where disruptions occur, we need to investigate – what is the reason, at what stage does the problem arise, and what can be done to resolve it," Slastenin said.

As a result of the meeting, a set of measures was developed to prevent supply disruptions and maintain stability in the fuel market of the region, the message said.

On June 27, residents of Ingushetia complained on social media about rising prices and the lack of gasoline at some local gas stations. At some gas stations, there were restrictions on fuel dispensing, and at one network, gasoline was sold by coupons.
