The promise to raise salaries for energy workers continued the series of pre-election statements by Kambolov.

The salaries of employees of the state unitary enterprise (GUP) "Energoresurs" are planned to be increased over the year, with an overall increase of up to 60 percent, said the acting head of South Ossetia, Marat Kambolov, after a meeting with the enterprise's staff.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 15, the acting president of South Ossetia Marat Kambolov presented the election program, the main goal of which he named as creating conditions for a decent life, work, and self-realization of residents without the need to leave the republic. Among the program's directions, he mentioned social support, job creation, and income growth.

The salary of employees of the state unitary enterprise (GUP) "Energoresurs" will be increased gradually over the year, with an overall increase of up to 60%, said the acting president of South Ossetia Marat Kambolov after a meeting with the enterprise's staff.

Kambolov published a message about the meeting on his Telegram channel on September 17.

Almost every district's residents talk about the state of the power grids and old poles, Kambolov noted. According to him, it is planned to systematically update the power transmission lines, replace poles, increase the reliability of power supply, and prepare specialists for the upcoming gasification of the republic.

Recall that on September 8, Kambolov intensified his pre-election activity, responding to residents' appeals and outlining the priorities for the development of the republic. On September 6, social media users called on Kambolov not to forget his election promises and to address the stated problems after his report on the work of the public support headquarters.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that on August 24, residents of South Ossetia named among the main problems of the republic the outflow of the population, low salaries, lack of jobs, difficulties in obtaining loans and mortgages, public transport operation, and traffic jams at customs. One local resident noted that she primarily expects salary increases from the next president, as residents' incomes are low against the backdrop of high prices. She also admitted that she has stopped trusting candidates and hardly notices pre-election campaigning. Another local resident said that he does not expect changes after the elections.

On September 5, residents of the villages of Orchosan and Tsinaqar voiced to Kambolov problems with gas supply and water quality, lack of roads and agricultural machinery, salary arrears, and transport communication.
