On August 27, the funeral of South Ossetian resident Azamat Bekoev, call sign "Tanchik", who was killed in the area of the special military operation, took place, reports the state news agency "Res".

Bekoev was 33 years old. He left behind a young son. Posthumously awarded the medal "For the Defender of the Fatherland".
