The Krasnodar FAS initiated four cases for price gouging on fuel.

The owner of the gas station "Stepnaya" lowered fuel prices after a warning from the Krasnodar office of the FAS of Russia, and four more cases have been initiated. Commentators on social media stated that it takes several hours to refuel, if there is enough fuel at the gas station.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in recent days, the situation in Sochi regarding gasoline supply shows signs of stabilization compared to the middle of the month. According to local residents, it is necessary to know where and when fuel will be delivered. Against the backdrop of shortages, tourists are reaching Sochi by train or plane via Sukhum.

During monitoring, the FAS identified signs of violations of the competition protection law by one of the companies and LLC "Vetlan", operating under the commercial name "Stepnaya". The agency concluded that changes in retail prices for AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline could harm consumer interests, reports "Kommersant".

At the same time, the Krasnodar FAS initiated four cases regarding violations of antimonopoly legislation against fuel sellers at gas stations under the brands "Ufimneft", "Laba", "Southern Oil Company", and "Neftesfera". After the cases were initiated, prices at these gas stations also decreased.

Residents of Krasnodar spoke about the fuel situation

The Telegram channel "Typodar Krasnodar", which has over 56 thousand subscribers, published a video in which a man says he is going to the gas station at midnight to take his place in line, and in the morning to refuel with gasoline.

"It’s 00:26, the line is long, everyone is waiting until morning. As a result, I refueled at 06:30. By the way, they stop dispensing fuel in 10 minutes," he says.

In the comments to the video, users emphasized that there is no information about when and where fuel is available at gas stations. "I recently refueled at Rosneft on the eastern bypass. The line moved quite well, but when it got to me, they closed the refueling for two hours due to a fuel truck. In the end, I arrived there at 00:00 and left at 03:00. They filled a maximum of 50 liters," wrote Victoria Plis.

"Where and at what time? The most unpleasant thing about all this is that a person does not know where which gasoline is available and where the line is. As a result, some are just lucky "on the way", while others stand for a long time, but at least they know that the needed gasoline is available," commented Vassa Borisovna.

"I read somewhere that when it all started in Transbaikalia, people stood in line for four days. We have something to strive for," sarcastically noted Ann A.

Some commentators indicated that they refueled much faster. "I have never stood longer than 40 minutes, which is also crazy, but still. Many just don’t know where that is," informed Valya.

"Yesterday I refueled 95 in about 30 minutes, there was a line, but it moved normally," said Darya Safronova.

"On Tuesday at the locks, I refueled at GPN 95 Gdrive in exactly 30 minutes. The limit was 100 liters," wrote Varvara.

Recall that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in southern Russia, a fuel crisis has arisen. The fuel problem caused a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment. In auto services, customer queues have stretched for several months ahead, and the cost of equipment has nearly doubled.
