Subscribers of the Anapa mayor criticized the condition of the beaches.

The Anapa administration reported 1.3 million tourists since the beginning of the year. Commentators expressed the opinion that the quality of the sand dumped on the beaches will lead to no one coming next year.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the Anapa beaches, after being replenished with new sand, turned into a mixture of stones and clay, and officials' reports do not correspond to reality, Telegram users pointed out. According to commentators, significant costs were required to replenish the Anapa beaches after the oil spill, but the first storms washed away the sand, and the remaining sand on the shore has compacted. Another problem for the Anapa beaches after the storm was the large amount of seaweed.
Rospotrebnadzor issued permits for the opening of 100 beaches in Anapa. Another 12 beaches are undergoing examination.

Since the beginning of the year, over 1.3 million guests have vacationed in Anapa. Of these, more than 1 million are in the organized sector, about 40,000 are in children's health resorts, and about 250,000 are day tourists. Approximately 1,610 accommodation facilities are welcoming guests, with more than 180,000 tourists currently on vacation in Anapa. The average occupancy of sanatorium and resort facilities is 82%, reported Anapa mayor Svetlana Maslova on her Telegram channel.

She reminded that "the process of restoring the sandy beaches has been completed. About 100 of them have already received all the necessary permits and are welcoming lovers of seaside recreation."
