As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by July 27, the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 457 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

On July 27, the head of the Lesken district, Safarbi Inzhizhokov, reported in a Telegram channel about the transfer of the Order of Courage to the mother of the captain Rustam Kanloev, who was killed in the military operation.

No details about the biography and death of the soldier were provided in the administration's message.

Thus, at least 458 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed in the special military operation. "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 445 of them, and the deaths of another 13 became known from the report of the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
