Victims of the attack on a shopping center in Krasnodar refused hospitalization.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on June 20, one woman died in Krasnodar as a result of an attack by a young man at the West Mall shopping center. Four more people were injured.

Visitors to a shopping center in Krasnodar who were injured in the attack refused hospitalization, the press service of the Krasnodar Krai administration reported.

"According to information received promptly from the regional Ministry of Health, all victims refused hospitalization and received outpatient medical care," RIA Novosti reported today, citing the press service.

The West Mall shopping center has suspended operations, Kuban Segodnya reported, citing the shopping center's press service.

The Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin has taken control of the West Mall attack, the agency noted.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the attacker at the West Mall he is charged with murder and attempted murder of two or more persons in a socially dangerous manner. The Investigative Committee published a video of his interrogation, in which he admitted guilt and expressed remorse for his actions. During interrogation, the young man stated that he intended to commit suicide. He was ordered a forensic psychiatric examination.

As a reminder, the attacker at the West Mall shopping center stabbed several patrons and was detained. One security guard received a cut on his hand, another a cut on his thigh, and the other victims also received cuts to their extremities.

Sources reported that the attacker is 19 years old. According to eyewitnesses, he ran into the shopping center and began looking for someone. A security guard approached him, and the young man stabbed him with a knife, then began attacking the men who tried to stop him. The attacker detonated an improvised explosive device, filling the shopping center with smoke. Upon arrest, the attacker claimed he hadn't been paid. "I wasn't getting paid, I was just tired of life," he said in a video posted on the Telegram channel "Beware, News."
