Residents of a house in Kaspiysk asked for help after a flood.

During the flood, water flooded the basement of a building on Bat'manova Street. Residents complained and asked Kaspiysk authorities to include them on the list of those affected by the emergency.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on April 9, the state of emergency in effect in Dagestan and Chechnya due to the flooding situation was raised from regional to federal. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 524 people are currently staying in 16 temporary accommodation centers in Dagestan. 762 residential buildings, 812 garden plots, and 76 road sections remain flooded in the republic.

An appeal from residents of 14 Bat'manova Street in Kaspiysk was published on the "Chernovik" Telegram channel. The appeal is addressed to the city's Civil Defense and Emergencies Department.

Pumps and electrical panels burned out and were left underwater.

"Please include our street in the list as one affected by the emergency! After all, water from the highway poured down our street and flooded our house and basement. Our pumps and electrical panels burned out and were left underwater," the publication states.

The authors of the appeal noted that the houses of the Camping microdistrict, which is nearby, were included in the list. "We were also flooded, because the flood was on our street," the statement noted.

The publication is illustrated with photographs of the flooded roadway and adjacent area, as well as a flooded basement.

The Kaspiysk Department of Civil Defense and Emergencies, as well as the city administration, have not commented on this message on their Telegram channels as of 1:24 p.m. Moscow time.

As a reminder, on April 9, a video message was published on behalf of the residents of the Makhachkala village of Karaman-2. The petitioners asked business owners and authorities to send specialized equipment and pumps to the neighborhood to drain the water that had flooded the streets. According to them, only one pump truck visited the village during the flooding.

Financial assistance of 15,600 rubles has been provided for each flood victim in Dagestan. Financial assistance for the loss of essential property is also provided: 78,735 rubles per person for partial property loss and 156,750 rubles per person for complete property loss. Compensation for damage to health ranges from 313,000 to 627,000 rubles. For the death of a man, authorities promised the family members of the deceased 1,567,500 rubles.
