As "Caucasian Knot" reported, by April 1, at least 1,738 soldiers from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Alexei Eltontsev from the Kamyshinsky district was killed in the military operation, according to the Volgograd publication "Gorodskie Vesti", founded by the municipal institution "IAV".

Details of the soldier's biography and death are not provided in the publication.
