The location of the person who organized the rally in Rostov-on-Don against blocking is unknown after a search.

Security officials in Rostov-on-Don conducted a search this morning at the home of Evgeny Makovoz, the organizer of a rally for internet freedom. The activist was beaten, and his whereabouts are unknown. Security officials seized his equipment, according to Makovoz's acquaintances.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," during mobile internet outages, websites and apps with access rights are not always available. This, coupled with problems with mobile service, leads to significant problems, according to residents of southern Russia.

The Rostov organizer of the internet freedom rally was searched. On March 18, Evgeny Makovoz filed a request to organize a rally, but has not yet received a response, according to Slovo Zashchiteti.

On the morning of March 21, nine unidentified security officers visited Makovoz. During the search, Makovoz was beaten and had his equipment confiscated, according to his acquaintances.

Makovoz's whereabouts remain unknown; according to his relatives, he suffered a concussion.
