Three soldiers from Dagestan were killed in Ukraine

Kemran Khanmagomedov, Sufyan Mirzaev, and Farman Gasanbekov from the Tabasaran district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 2099 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by September 4, authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 2096 fighters from Dagestan as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

A memorial plaque was unveiled at the Kurkak school in the Tabasaran district for three graduates who were killed during the military operation. Memorial plaques were installed for Kemran Khanmagomedov, Sufyan Mirzaev, and Farman Gasanbekov, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel.

Sufyan Mirzaev was born in 1980, a native of the village of Vecherik. He graduated from the Kurkak school in 1997. He was married and raised three children. In May 2025, he volunteered for the special military operation. He was killed on November 27, 2025, in the Donetsk People's Republic.

Farman Gasanbekov was born in 2000 in the village of Dzhugdil. He graduated from the 9th grade of the Kurkak school in 2015, after which he obtained a law degree at the Derbent Pedagogical College. Since 2019, he served in the military, then signed a contract. In 2022, he was sent to the area of the special military operation. He was killed on July 27, 2026, in the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic.

Kemran Khanmagomedov is a native of the village of Dzhugdil. He graduated from the Kurkak Secondary School in 2014. From 2017 to 2018, he served in the RF Armed Forces, holding the rank of junior sergeant. On October 1, 2022, he was mobilized and sent to the area of the special military operation in the Donetsk region. He was killed on September 8, 2025, in the village of Verkhnekamensk in the Artemovsky district of the DPR. He was awarded the Order of Georgy Zhukov, the Order for Distinction in the Special Military Operation, and the Order for Military Valor.

Authorities recognized at least 9650 fighters from southern Russia as killed in Ukraine

At least 4798 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4852 soldiers from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the special operation in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 2099 combatants from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. Earlier, the administration of the Tabasaran district reported that Izzet Agasiev was killed in the special military operation.
