As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by November 20, at least 1,685 Dagestan soldiers had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The name of Junior Sergeant Ainudin Akhmedov, who died on July 26, 2024, was released by authorities as part of a report on the presentation of the Order of Courage to the mother of a serviceman. The message published on the Dokuzparinsky District Telegram channel did not provide biographical details or circumstances of death.

Thus, at least 1,686 combatants from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the combat zone in Ukraine. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
