Policemen prevent self-immolation near Pashinyan's residence in Yerevan

Law enforcers have saved the man, who poured gasoline over and set himself on fire at the residence of Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The oppositional leader Nikol Pashinyan was elected to the post of Prime Minister and in fact became the country's leader on May 8.

On July 10, policemen noticed, at the Premier's residence in Bagramyan Avenue, a man who tried to burn himself down. They managed to stop him, a source from the Armenian police told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September 2017, in Yerevan, employees of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) managed to prevent a self-immolation act in the vicinity of Markaryan Street in Yerevan.
