Public prosecutor's office discovered abuse in the activities of the administration of Adler district of Sochi

Administrative infraction proceedings were started against Head of Adler district of the health resort of Sochi.

According to Press service of Kuban Public prosecutor's office, Adler district prosecutor's office of Sochi carried out an inspection of observance of legal demands for placing state and municipal orders in the spheres of housing and utilities and transport infrastructure.

"Violating legal demands Adler district administration of Sochi placed the orders in form of a quotation request to a sum of over 500 thousand rubles during the second quarter of 2010 by means of artificial subdivision of technical inspection processes on maintenance and renovation of objects of accomplishment in Adler district of Sochi", the office reports.

According to Public prosecutor's office, in this way the customers eluded holding an open competition (auction) for fulfilling these works. Upon the results of the inspection Prosecutor of Adler district of Sochi started administrative infraction proceedings against Head of the district administration according to part 1, clause 7.29 of Code of Administrative infractions of the Russian Federation (non-observance of legal demands for placing orders on delivery of goods, fulfilling works, rendering services for state and municipal needs).

The materials of the case were submitted to the Department of Economic and Target programs of Krasnodar district for consideration on the merits and application of measures of management responsibility.

The position of Adler district administration of Sochi health resort concerning the violations brought out by Public prosecutor's office is still unknown.
