Officials of republican law-enforcement structures and Election Commission gave Karachaevo-Cherkessia's media representatives joint press-conference

Prosecutor of the Republic Vladimir Gannochka, Interior Minister Alexey Lapin, Vice-Chairman of the Election Commission of the Republic of Karachaevo-Cherkessia Marat Tebuyev assured republican journalists there had not been any significant breaches of the electoral legislation during the past presidential election. They asserted that there was no ground for the multiple disturbances and, consequently, spontaneous meetings that had taken place in regional centers of the republic on the occasion of mass bribery of electors during the vote on August 17.
