Increase in donations questions efficiency of Kadyrov Foundation
Six billion roubles donated to the Kadyrov Foundation is a colossal amount; the investment thereof into the republic's economy should have an obvious result, Orientalists have noted. Over 44,000 US dollars raised for treatment of Azerbaijani oppositionist Mekhman Guseinov
Doctors diagnosed with cancer Mekhman Guseinov, an Azerbaijani blogger and oppositionist, and almost 76,800 US dollars are to be raised for his medical treatment, his brother reports. Human rights defenders supported the announced fundraising. They associated the Mekhman Guseinov's health state with his arrests and imprisonment.

Fellow villagers of gays killed in Kuban reject court's version about domestic conflict
The court sentenced a defendant accused of killing a same-sex couple of pensioners to 12 years of imprisonment. According to the court, the crime was provoked by a domestic conflict. Fellow villagers of the killed pensioners believe that homophobia was the motive of the crime, and the "Russian LGBT Network" emphasized that Russian courts did not take into account such versions.

Chechen law enforcer succeeds in bringing case on torture to consideration at ECtHR
Law enforcers from Chechnya who beat their colleague 10 years ago were not punished because of an ineffective investigation, claimed former field investigator Alikhan Akhmedov. Russia witnesses a growth of the number of political prisoners, including from the regions of Northern Caucasus, the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" has noted in its report. 120 Azerbaijani citizens back in homeland from Dagestan
More than 600 Azerbaijani citizens are still on the border with Dagestan after 120 of their countrymen were taken home, said Elnur Guseinov, the vice president of the Union of Russian Azerbaijanis. In Armenia, law enforcers arrest three persons suspected of kidnapping a local resident
In a case against residents of the town of Kajaran, whose detention provoked a protest action, three out of five defendants were arrested. The defence requested the court to release Babken Ambartsumyan on bail, because he took care of his family members, including his sick child.
