ECtHR recognizes violation of Yunus spouses' rights
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) recognized a violation of rights of Azerbaijani human rights defenders Leyla and Arif Yunus under several articles of the European Convention on Human Rights. The Strasbourg Court obliged the authorities of Azerbaijan to pay the human rights defenders the compensation in the amount of 51,000 euros.

Two PFPA activists detained in Azerbaijan
The Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) treats the persecution of its activists, Farid Asadov and Elvin Bakhmanoglu as political. The whereabouts of Asadov after his detention is unknown; Bakhmanoglu was arrested for 15 days, Gezyal Bairamly, the PFPA deputy chair, has stated.

Azerbaijan claims voluntary border crossing by resident of Armenia

Drivers note tension decrease in crossing Dagestani-Chechen border
Residents of Dagestan travel to Chechnya by buses, while taxi drivers agree to bring people only to the border, where residents of other regions must present a certificate stating that they are not sick with coronavirus. In recent days, policemen are no longer demanding such certificates from all passengers; therefore, the queues on the border have decreased, drivers inform.

Armenian MoD reports de-escalation of border conflict
The ceasefire regime is maintained on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reported. Residents of the near-border regions of Armenia said that the aggravation of the conflict caused no panic, but some villages and town were cut off from the gas supply because of shelling attacks.
