Yerevan residents quit their jobs and studies to go to war zone as volunteers. Many military registration and enlistment offices (commissariats) refuse to call or offer to wait for summons; in such case, people join the "Yerkrapa" Volunteer Union, Yerevan residents told the "Caucasian Knot".

Salakh Mezhiev, the Mufti of Chechnya, has urged residents of the republic to get vaccinated against influenza. The Chechen authorities are imposing vaccination on local residents, the residents of Grozny, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", believe. The authorities of the Derbent District of Dagestan discussed a removal of a camp near the village of Kullar because of the weather conditions, but it was still decided to leave tents in place. Today, the air defence system of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army shot down three aircrafts, two helicopters, and six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the southern and south-eastern directions of the front line, Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesperson for the operational headquarters under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia, has written on his Facebook page. According to him, one of the helicopters fell on the territory controlled by the Defence Army, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported.

One person was killed in a shelling attack from the Armenian side on the city of Terter, and the number of civilians killed during the hostilities reached 16, while 55 others were wounded, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan registered a rocket attack in the Karabakh conflict zone and denied information about a downed helicopter.

Armenians living in many countries have sent USD 10.5 million to financially support Nagorno-Karabakh; and 130 trucks with foodstuffs have arrived from Armenia, sources from the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities have reported, adding that Armenian Diasporas from different countries of the world are financially supporting Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Turkish air forces are involved in the hostilities on the side of Azerbaijan, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.
