In Yerevan, a mass clash took place on Republic Square between the police and the protestors who demanded the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The protesters tried to set up a tent camp. They announced the beginning of an indefinite protest action in front of the government building.

In Rostov-on-Don, a court found Aslan Daudov, a resident of Chechnya, guilty of hostage-taking, terrorism, and premeditated killing during the 1995 attack by Shamil Basaev's grouping on Budyonnovsk. The defendant was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment in a high-security penal colony.

Today, residents of Armenia, who demand the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan, have blocked the motorways from Vanadzor to Yerevan, from Ijevan to Yerevan, and from Vanadzor to Dilijan. In Yerevan, opposition supporters held a rally in front of the government building. The opposition called on residents of the country to take part in the nationwide strike.

The Farniev family council has accused the journalist, Zaur Farniev, of violating the principles of agdau – the Ossetians' unwritten set of ethical rules – for publishing the news about an accident involving the brother of the head of North Ossetia. Local officials have met with the participants of the protest action held in central Tskhinvali by relatives and friends of Inal Djabiev, who died during interrogation at the South-Ossetian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), and urged them to leave the central square so as not to freeze.
