Court of Appeal leaves Afghan Sadygov in custody
The Sumgait Court of Appeal (CoA) has dismissed the defence's motion urging to transfer the journalist, Afghan Sadygov, who has been on his protest hunger strike for 55 days, under house arrest. Sadygov's health condition is critical, said his wife.

Three Armenian villages face threat of blockade after border demarcation

Head of Armenian village reports Azerbaijan's claims to 12 houses
Azerbaijani officials have performed the demarcation of the border and demanded that a part of the Armenian village of Shurnukh be transferred to Azerbaijan, said the village head. The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump.
