Azerbaijan claims shelling of its positions along Armenian border

Two protesters against gay parade in Tbilisi arrested
A Tbilisi court has ruled to arrest two persons accused of attacking Lekso Lashkarava, a cameraman of the "TV-Pirveli" Company, and a passer-by with a rainbow flag. Journalists have demanded from the Georgian General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) to punish the organizers of the rally against the "March of Dignity", who were released after interrogation.

Azerbaijani MoD reports deployment of military units around Karabakh
In the Agdam District, which has come under the Azerbaijan's control after the last autumn war in Nagorno-Karabakh, a new military unit has been stationed; two other units were deployed in this district in June. The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The meeting of Trump, Aliyev and Pashinyan took place on August 8 in Washington. Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Aliyev also signed a joint declaration.
