The Military Court of Appeal has upheld the verdict to Aslan Daudov, a resident of Chechnya, who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for taking part in hostage-taking, terrorism and premeditated murder during the 1995 attack by Shamil Basaev's detachment on Budyonnovsk.

The Russia's Supreme Court (SC) has found gross violations at the consideration of the cases of the residents of Dagestan killed in Chechnya. Already after the death of eight young people, they were accused of law enforcers' attempted murders. The SC has returned the case to Grozny for a new trial.
