Two soldiers wounded in special operation at Serzhen-Yurt village in Chechnya

ECtHR finds Russia guilty of seven disappearances in Chechnya
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg has found Russia guilty of disappearance and death of seven residents of Chechnya and ruled that Russian authorities should pay 470,000 euros of compensation. This is stated in the press release of the Court.

Dagestan residents dissatisfied with law enforcers' nonfeasance

Anniversary of protest action dispersal in Tbilisi passed without excesses
On June 15, a 30-minute protest action was held at the building of the former Chief Police Administration of Tbilisi. ICG: Russia allotted 28,000 US dollars per resident of South Ossetia
After the August conflict of 2008, the whole economy of South Ossetia had to reorient towards Russia. The Russian Federation had allocated 840 million US dollars (26 billion roubles) to the breakaway republic; however, the economy, which should have consumed the money, shows no recovery. Ten supposed militants liquidated today in Dagestan
They were killed in two armed clashes that burst out in Dagestan today. Six of them were killed in the course of the special operation conducted in Stary Kostek village, and four more were shot dead in the city of Derbent. The general losses of the federal forces made four casualties and eight wounded servicemen.
