At least two persons were killed and two more injured during the period from January 30 to February 5 in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

An exhibition of works of video art "Echo-Eco" devoted to ecology and protection of the environment opened in Sochi. 15 works by finalists of the contest were exhibited. Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan finds whereabouts of residents, reported as missing by relatives
Svetlana Bogach, a resident of Dagestan, whose disappearance was claimed by her husband, is with her cousin in Moscow. Djabrail Nurulaev and Ramazan Gadjiev, whose kidnapping was reported by their relatives, were arrested for five days, after which Gadjiev was released, and in relation to Nurulaev a criminal case was initiated. This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan.
