The Supreme Court of Dagestan convicted two local residents of the kidnapping and murder of an eight-year-old schoolgirl in Kaspiysk in 2018. The man was sentenced to life in prison, and his accomplice, a distant relative of the child, was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
