In Volgograd Region, governess sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment for beating child
Today, the Kotovo District Court of the Volgograd Region sentenced Oksana Levchenko, the family governess, to 4 years of imprisonment in a common security penal colony for the fact that she beat a6-year-old child, who took a candy without asking permit. Suspected militants, blocked in Khasavyurt, persuaded to surrender by their relatives
One of the men, who surrendered during the special operation in Khasavyurt, was put on the wanted list on suspicion of robbery, and another one was put on the list of missing persons. The third surrendered man, the owner of the blocked house and the son of the deputy head of Khasavyurt, is, according to power agents, an accomplice of the militants, not put on the wanted list. The negotiations with the suspected militants involved their relatives.

Residents of dormitory in Grozny report on authorities' demand to leave premises

Three out of four suspected militants surrender during negotiations in Dagestan
Three suspected militants, blocked in a private house in Dagestani Khasavyurt, surrendered as a result of negotiations with power agents. One more suspected militant, hidden in the house, renders armed resistance. This was reported by a source in law enforcement agencies of the city.

More than 100 Syrian Armenians arrived in Armenia
On August 6, the "Zvartnots" Airport welcomed more passengers from Syria; 101 persons arrived from Aleppo to Yerevan on that day. Every time, Syrian Armenians are welcomed by representatives of the Ministry of Diaspora; new comers are given leaflets with the information needed to stay in Armenia. Republic's Clinical Hospital in Chechnya, opened in October 2011, still does not work
At present, new buildings of the Republic's Clinical Hospital (RCH) in Grozny, opened on October 5, 2011, do not work. The RCH will be able to take the first patients only in early 2013. European Investment Bank to grant loan to Armenia for modernization of border checkpoints
