Today, residents of Armenia and Georgia gathered at rallies to commemorate the casualties of the terrorist attack on the editorial board of the satirical weekly "Charlie Hebdo" in Paris on January 7. The attack was directed against the freedom of speech, said the participants of the events.

The explosion at a police station in Istanbul was triggered by a citizen of Russia Diana Ramazova, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Turkey has reported. Two policemen were wounded; later one of them died; Ramazova also perished.

As a result of a landslide in the Khosta District of Sochi, a barrack, which was inhabited by 20 persons, was damaged. All the tenants were evacuated. The tenants intend to seek for an independent examination of the reasons of the tragedy and receipt of appropriate compensations.
