On October 1, after the end of the court session in the case against of Nadezhda Savchenko, her defender Nikolai Polozov stated that the Ukrainian aviator, accused of involvement in the killings of Russian journalists, might be extradited to Ukraine and later released within six months, depending on the progress of the trial and the appeal.

This was reported by the Mayor of the Israeli city of Hadera. At the trial in the case against Ukrainian aviator Nadezhda Savchenko, the court in the Rostov Region has questioned two victims and listened to the written testimony of the third victim. The defendant's defence has claimed a lot of coincidences in the testimonies of the victims and called that fact an "intellectual fraud".
