Kadyrov reproaches Russian regions for making noise around gas debts
The decision of the court of Grozny that obliged to write off the gas debts does not mention the sum of 9 billion roubles, said the head of Chechnya. He explained the republic's debts by two military campaigns, worn-out networks and problems with consumers' accounting; he has also called on Russian regions to solve their problems with gas debts without mentioning Chechnya.

ECtHR awards 1.6 million euros to relatives of those who went missing in Chechnya and Ingushetia
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has issued its judgments on 20 disappearances of residents of Chechnya and Ingushetia in 2002-2005 and obliged the Russian authorities to pay compensations to their relatives. The total amount of compensations exceeds 1.6 million euros, says the website of the project "Legal Initiative".

Political prisoners stop hunger strike in Azerbaijan
The six oppositionists, who held a hunger strike in Azerbaijani colonies, demanding to release the blogger Mekhman Guseinov and other political prisoners, have stopped their protest.
