Aminat Lorsanova reports fleeing Chechnya after "treatment" for homosexuality
After escaping from Chechnya, Aminat Lorsanova, a native of Grozny, broke all ties with her relatives who tried to "expel genies from her" by beating her with sticks. Islam does not practice treatment for homosexuality, notes Magomedrasul Omarov, the head of the Dagestani information and analytical centre "Fikr".

Residents of Chechnya criticize attack on Milashina and Dubrovina
It is unacceptable for a Chechen to attack a woman and a guest, Instagram users said in response to statements of local publics asserting that republic's residents had supported the attack on Elena Milashina, an observer of the "Novaya Gazeta" newspaper, and Marina Dubrovina, an advocate. Native of Ingushetia convicted for preparing terror act at World Cup-2018
The court has sentenced Zalimkhan Bogatyryov to 14 years in prison, after having found him guilty of involvement in the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court, and of preparing a terror act during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The meeting of Trump, Aliyev and Pashinyan took place on August 8 in Washington. Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Aliyev also signed a joint declaration. In addition to the agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Trump signed a number of separate memoranda with Aliyev and Pashinyan....
