A resident of the Rostov region is accused of arson of a relay cabinet.

The criminal case of a resident of the Rostov region, who set fire to a relay cabinet on the railway, has been submitted for court consideration.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", after the start of the military operation in Ukraine, there have been repeated arsons of infrastructure facilities in the southern regions of Russia - in particular, equipment on the railway. On September 23, the case of a 23-year-old resident of Rostov-on-Don, accused of setting fire to a locomotive, was submitted to the court.

A criminal case against a 31-year-old resident of the Rostov region, accused of committing a terrorist act on the railway, has been submitted to the Southern District Military Court, reported on November 7 by "Kommersant", citing the press service of the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the accused agreed in November last year during an online correspondence to commit a terrorist act. It is not specified with whom the correspondence was conducted, but the investigation reports that the woman agreed to commit the terrorist act, fearing for her husband's life.

The woman prepared an incendiary mixture and set fire to the relay cabinet on the stretch between the Neklinovka and Martsevo stations in the Neklinovsky district. She filmed the arson and sent the video to her curator.

A criminal case has been initiated against the woman under paragraph "v" of part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (arson aimed at destabilizing the activities of government authorities, resulting in significant property damage).
