The director of the expert institute was convicted in Dagestan in a bribery case.

The court in Dagestan sentenced the director of a private organization to a term in a penal colony and a large fine for receiving bribes in collusion with employees of Dagtekhkadastr.

The former director of LLC "Institute of Professional Assessment, Expertise and Design" was charged with five episodes of receiving a bribe in a large amount and two episodes of bribery in especially large amounts (parts 5 and 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum punishment under this article is from eight to fifteen years of imprisonment.

According to the prosecution's version, the accused was a participant in a group that included, in particular, employees of the state institution - Dagtekhkadastr. He received money from property owners "for the illegal reduction of the cadastral value of land plots and real estate," the Investigative Committee of Dagestan reported on its Telegram channel.

The court sentenced the man to six years in a strict regime colony and a fine of 15 million rubles. The agency did not specify at what stage the cases against the employees of Dagtekhkadastr, who were also included in the criminal group, are.

It is not indicated in the investigation's message whether the accused admitted his guilt. The "Caucasian Knot" currently does not have comments from the accused or his lawyer regarding the verdict.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the court found the head of the department of "KrasnodarAvtodor" Irina Nasonova guilty of systematically receiving bribes from contractors and sentenced her to eight years in a colony. The actual serving of the sentence for the convicted person is postponed until her child reaches 14 years of age.
