Guests of North Ossetia must respect local customs and not perceive hospitality as weakness, said Sergey Menyaylo after a brawl with gunfire in Vladikavkaz. Social media users considered the oral calls of the head of the republic for order insufficient. They urged the authorities and law enforcement to take concrete actions and condemned Menyaylo for dividing people into 'us' and 'them.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on the night of October 18, a brawl with gunfire occurred in Vladikavkaz, after which two people were hospitalized, including Chechen MMA fighter Ibrahim Islamov, known by the nickname Nikarkho. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, one of the participants in the conflict fired several shots from a traumatic pistol.

North Ossetia is ready to welcome guests, but those arriving must adhere to behavioral rules and respect the residents of the republic, said the head of North Ossetia Sergey Menyaylo.

"We are an open republic, we are hospitable, attractive to guests. But guests must behave like guests, not like hosts. Respectful treatment of people should not be perceived as weakness, and one should not take advantage of it," said Menyaylo, whose words were quoted today by the publication "15 Region" in its Instagram*-page.

This statement by Menyaylo was made after recent conflicts in Vladikavkaz, including a nighttime brawl with gunfire near one of the establishments, after which two injured individuals were hospitalized, the publication stated.

"The recent incidents are indicative, and we will deal with them, but not in the public domain. Guests arrived here at 00:30 to have fun in the restaurant. You are welcome, but behave decently!" said the head of the republic.

The openness and hospitality of North Ossetia should not become a reason for disrespectful behavior, emphasized Menyaylo.
