At the meeting of the board of the "Yeni Azerbaijan" party, a decision was made to exclude the former head of the presidential administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev, who is accused of attempting a coup.

At the meeting of the "Yeni Azerbaijan" party (YAP), a decision was made to exclude Ramiz Mehdiyev, Oxu.az reported on October 16.

Initially, the issue of Mehdiyev's exclusion was raised at meetings held by several local party organizations, after which they appealed to the leadership. At the board meeting, the deputy chairman of the party, Ali Ahmedov, and several board members stated that Mehdiyev no longer has the moral-political right to be a member of "Yeni Azerbaijan".

In addition to the unanimous decision to exclude him from the party, it was also decided to send a petition to the relevant authorities to deprive Mehdiyev of all state awards.
