According to one of the residents of Vladikavkaz, the heating organization has still not provided warmth to the city residents, despite the low temperature.

Commenters, identifying themselves as residents of Vladikavkaz, complained about the cold in their apartments and noted that both adults and children are getting sick because of it. "It’s damp and cold in the apartments, laundry doesn’t dry for a week! Everyone is already getting sick. But we are stubbornly waiting for the 15th," wrote 19goryanka79.

"It could be earlier; it’s impossible to be cold in the apartments, children sleep in hoodies at night. I wonder, do you also sit in cold houses?" asked dulaeva_alana.

"It’s so cold in the apartments that even heaters don’t help, and it’s very damp. Children and the elderly are getting sick. And they are waiting for October 15," complained khugaeva49.

Other participants in the discussion criticized the tying of the start of the heating season to a specific date and called for it to be based on actual weather conditions. "Can we somehow solve this issue once and for all: extend the heating season from October 1 to May 1? Every year it’s the same, heating doesn’t start until everyone gets sick," noted 25zalina05.

"When it’s hot outside, they heat. When it’s cold, there’s no heating. Isn’t it time to provide warmth to homes based on weather conditions, not planned dates? Meanwhile, they don’t allow individual heating," wrote tna_1157.

Residents of Vladikavkaz also linked the lack of heating to additional expenses and were outraged by the payment order for the utility service. "Then let’s pay only from the day they turn on the heating," suggested tedeeva_zz.

The planned date for the start of the heating season in North Ossetia is October 15, however, if the air temperature drops, heating will be provided earlier, reported the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Housing and Utilities of the republic. If the average daily temperature remains below +8 degrees for five consecutive days, heating will be turned on no later than the next day, according to a statement from the ministry, which was reported by "Lenta Novosti Vladikavkaza" on October 6.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents and others from the North Caucasus republics complained about the delay in the start of the heating season. For example, on October 3, residents of Nalchik called on officials to start the heating season, pointing out the cold in their apartments.

On the night of October 8, the air temperature will be +9 degrees, variable cloudiness is expected, and the wind speed will increase to 3 meters per second.
