A schoolgirl from Karachay-Cherkessia apologized for the banned symbols online.

A 15-year-old resident of Cherkessk posted a publication online featuring symbols banned in Russia. Law enforcement published a video of her apologies.

During monitoring on the internet, employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Karachay-Cherkessia identified a publication in the public domain featuring symbols whose distribution and public demonstration are prohibited by law.

As a result of search activities, the police identified the owner of the page. It turned out to be a 15-year-old resident of Cherkessk, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region reported today on its Telegram channel.

The police held a conversation with the schoolgirl in the presence of her mother. The girl's parents were issued an administrative protocol for failing to fulfill their duties regarding the upbringing and maintenance of minors. The article provides for a warning or an administrative fine ranging from five hundred to two thousand rubles.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region also published a video of the schoolgirl's apologies, in which she says that this is a big lesson for her and that such actions should not be repeated. "I have taken responsibility for this, and I urge everyone not to commit such foolish acts," the schoolgirl said in the video.

At the same time, the law enforcement agency did not specify which particular symbols the schoolgirl spread on the internet.
