The name of the killed soldier from Dagestan in Ukraine has been revealed.

Adam Gadzhikerimov from the Khivsky district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have acknowledged at least 2116 combatants from Dagestan killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by September 16, officials and law enforcement named at least 2115 servicemen from Dagestan killed in the combat zone in Ukraine and near the border.

The name of another soldier killed in combat in Ukraine was announced by the administration of the Khivsky district while reporting on the reception of relatives of the deceased.

“The wife of Adam Gadzhikerimov, Indira Gadzhikerimova, reported that she did not receive the Order of Courage, which her husband was posthumously awarded,” the municipality's message states.

The officials did not specify the reason for Gadzhikerimova's problem and how it was resolved. The age and details of the biography of the deceased are not provided in the message.

Thus, at least 2116 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to the report from "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".

In August, the administration of the Khivsky district reported that Rafik Begov was killed in Ukraine.

Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the number of killed whose names have been officially disclosed by the authorities. Sergey Melikov, who headed Dagestan in February 2022, was the first among the representatives of the authorities to announce that a Russian soldier was killed in Ukraine, acknowledging the death of officer Nurmagomed Gadzhimagomedov.
